Officer's Funeral Draws 400
More than 200 uniformed officers representing 14 agencies stood at attention this morning at Reedley Cemetary for the Funeral of California Highway Patrolman Dean Esquibel, 23. At least another 200 civilians attended the service. Full honors were given by the CHP and other law enforcement agencies. Two airplanes and a helicopter from the CHP Air Operations flew over the ceremony. Attending the graveside service were the Honor Guard of the California Highway Patrol, police officers from the Dinuba, Reedley, Kingsburg, Orange Cove, Woodlake, Hanford, Exeter, and Visalia police departments; California Highway Patrol officers, Kings, Fresno and Tulare County sheriff's deputies, the Navy Honor Guard and the California State Police.
